Sofie Gernaat, MSc, PhD

Sofie Gernaat is a clinical epidemiologist, assistant professor, with a doctoral degree from the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands and postdoctoral training at the Karolinska Institute in Sweden. Her research is on improving health outcomes and quality of life of women with breast cancer. With a strong focus on validation and implementation of artificial intelligence in breast cancer care. Next to Artillery, Sofie is also involved in the DIRECT-DCIS consortium, (co)-investigator in a variety of international scientific papers and is teaching in clinical epidemiology.
