The EU-funded ARTILLERY Project aims to develop trustworthy AI models for predicting the risk of cardiovascular disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, obesity, and osteoporosis in patients treated for early breast cancer.
At the annual DCCC Radiotherapy meeting, PhD student Belinda Bøgh Irankunda presented the upcoming ARTILLERY-CARDI trial. This decision impact trial explores how AI-based risk prediction influences patients’ wellbeing and risk profiles, with a particular focus on how risk information is perceived and used in follow-up care.
